Musiikkia myöhäiseen iltaan..

.. ja tiettyyn mielialaan.

Olen niin onnellinen päätöksestäni lähteä tavoittelemaan unelmiani. Tai unelmaani. Tähän mennessä tuo valitsemani tie on tuntunut mahtavalta.

Can I feel more fashionweek-y?

Monique Lhuillier

Very feminine. Very already-seen-this. But if you don't know anything about dressing classicly and smartly, then you should study this collection with a magnifying glass and make yourself notes because these outfits are 100% "being stylish for dummies". If you like taking risks, this is not your cup of tea.

*blushes*

I just have to say that these RAD by Rad Hourani trousers are kind of hot.

Marc Jacobs

Almost too wild for my taste BUT the bright colours, the clothes and the styling makes a combination so delicious that I can't resist. I love the atmosphere and especially these looks:

Rachel Roy

featured my favourite colours. Surprisingly, I like this collection a lot.

Vera Wang

had these looks and I fell in love with them the second I saw them.

Hervé Léger

has never really been one of my favourites although the whole world seemed to be kissing the ground under his feet at one point. And again I have to say that even though the collection's nicely put and I'm sure that it's a success, I don't love it as unconditionally. The colour palette is lovely, that's undeniable but the silhouette is too restricting and it feels like the dresses are aimed only for celebrities/Gossip Girl-actors and magazine covers. However, I have two outfits that I liked and they are:

Feeling fashionweek-y.

Behnaz Sarafpour

really stole my heart with the large, flowy pants last season but now I'm not as touched. Sarafpour has decided to do the Marc Jacobs+Louis Vuitton-thingy and lengthen the hemline -which is nice- but the collection is so safe and cautious that it reminds me of 80's tablecloths. The two looks I liked from the collection:

Max Azria

This collection is by far one of my absolute favourites. Modern and feminine, clear and geometric but also soft and airy. Very classic and almost timeless ('almost' because only time will tell what works no matter what the context).

Erin Fetherston

If you want to look really good; sexy, sleek, fresh, and you have long, tanned legs to show-off, you should let Erin Fetherston guide you with your wardrobe the summer season. Some of the shorter dresses in the end are soo boring but otherwise many great outfits were seen on Fetherston's catwalk. My picks:

Jenny Packham

Beautiful, ultra-glamourous, feminine, light, flowy, figure-hugging.. When you are in need of beauty, sugar, romance and fantasies, this is the right style for you. I love these dresses:

Alexandre Herchcovitch

Hah, colour blocks! Fun was my first impression of the collection. However, it might be boring if you stare at these longer or if you style yourself like this everyday. At this moment, this seems refreshing but may not endure longer. Although, I must say that I love the lipsticks. My picks:

More stuff from the fashionweek(s)!

Nicole Miller

The collection was kind of nah and blah but there were some really beautiful, innovative, fresh and timeless pieces too. Fashion has been going to a more modern and timeless direction and Nicole Miller's jumped in to that boat.

ADAM

The season's trends are summarized in this collection. Very sophisticated, chic and fresh. Beautiful colours, classic but at times too safe but still, aftertaste is rather good. My favourites:

Edition by Georges Chakra

The base is very conservative and commercial but the modern and geometric touches save the collection. However, I can totally see these outfits on the red carpet and on other PR-/celebrity happenings. Especially the second dress here (the LBD) is very Kate Winslet.

Cynthia Rowley

This season everyone seems to opting for young, modern and hip style. Including Cynthia Rowley. I didn't like the holes and stuff even though they were rather clever. This dress was my favourite from the collection.

Jill Stuart

I'm a sucker for black and white. Especially if they're used cleverly. So I'm not standing on a neutral ground when speaking about this collection but I still have to say that I actually really liked this. Here are my favs:
