Where to get great make-up tips from..

I think it is the time for me to share my make-up inspiration with you. Of course, it is possible that you're already aware of this amazing duo and their videos. So, if that's the case, then great! For the rest, I think this will be a really helpful tip for the occasions and days when you just don't get your smokey-eye make-up right or when you end up looking like the scary clown from It instead of Marilyn Monroe, or if you want to try out an entirely new look.

Before I start let me give you some background info. I usually don't like watching video bloggers or Youtube channels because it's really difficult to find true, quality stuff that I look for. I don't mean to sound like a snob or to insult other bloggers in any way but I want real information and, unfortunately, these days blogs and vlogs often contain too much pictures and videos of the bloggers' abilities to pose for my taste. Some of you may like it and it's totally fine.

One day I wanted to find out how to do a classic smokey-eye and started flipping through the videos. After many minutes and many bored sighs I noticed in the Youtube sidebar an interesting video suggestion. I clicked the image and started watching. The woman in the video gave a short description of what she was going to do and then went straight to the business. She seemed really professional but still laid-back and the result was amazing. I watched another video, and another, and finally I found myself from subscribing to her channel. Later I learned that she posted the videos with her sister and that they both were professional make-up artists. What a joy! Finally a vlog or a channel I really enjoyed watching and I learned a lot from every video they posted.

The vlog I'm talking about is Pixiwoo and the channel's gurus are Samantha and Nicola. They also have their own site: http://www.fashionface.tv/ . What's great about the two is that the styles they do range from very basics to really creative and inspiring stuff. In addition, their videos are nice to watch: the videos are visually very clear and eye-pleasing and the gurus chat but they are also very precise and know what they are talking about. They have really good morals when considering the blogging culture or the world we live in.

Some examples from where you can start:

Tips for using the eyeliner.

How to do the smokey-eye.

Tips for small eyes and big eyes.

Red lips and strong brows.

Isn't it great? Even though you might not want to try out those looks yourself, you want to watch the videos. I'm addicted, are you? :) Thanks Sam and Nic!
